Weird Phone Calls

Okay, so while I was on shift this weekend I saw I had missed a phone call. It had a weird number I didn't know, that started with a 3, as in: 3-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Looked like some kind of error to me, but when I checked my voice mail, I had some guy speaking Arabic or Serbian or something, who said a few words (ending with what sounded like the word "telephone"), and then hanging up.

Wrong number, I figured.

Then this morning at about 0545, I get another phone call, same number. I didn't answer, just hung up and turned off my phone. It was, after all, five in the morning. Anyway, when I got up today, turned on my phone, I had two messages. The same weird foreign language dude, with an even shorter message, and a second voicemail that was just a hang up. The number is the same: 3-732-695-1690. I'm not about to call it back; probably ring through to Africa and cost me $250 a minute to call it.

So I dunno what the deal is. Usually when you get a wrong number, you don't keep calling it. For all I know this is some weird terrorist guy confusing my cell phone with some other terrorist guy's cell phone, and a Federal SWAT team is going to bust down my door any minute. Guess I'd get to see first hand how accurate my writing of GURPS SWAT was!
