Three More Fright Night Books?
Got an email this week from Mark Ricketts at Hogshead Publishing in the U.K. They're lining up new book projects for their Fright Night and Crime Scene lines. I've done two of the Fright Night books (What Went Down and Ghost Ship) and just put in my bid on three more.
The titles will tentatively be an oil rig horror adventure (as a sort of follow up to the previous two "bad things happen at sea" adventures), and a pair of WWII horror adventures, which should be a piece of cake considering the GURPS WWII stuff I cranked out in the last few years. The "spiders" book I mentioned last post is still on the schedule, but Mur Lafferty, another Hogshead writer, has expressed interest in it, which works out great.
Looking forward to getting some writing done again soon. First book will tentatively be due July 2005; the subsequent two would fall around Nov 05 and Jan 06. I'll post details when I know I have the contracts, but I suspect it's pretty certain at this point. So it looks like I'll be doing a lot of writing over the summer.
Who needs a vacation anyway...
